So, the idea is... ...Thanks for catching the typo!<br /><br />So, the idea is... the ghosts are canned up, and then they say they'll be taken somewhere that they can "cross over" but really they're left in the cans and stored in a cellar somewhere. He was advising against releasing them, because someone might recognize the ghost and then people would know that they weren't doing what they promised.
